Location: Flexible (No geographic preference, but candidate must be willing to work Pacific Time hours)

Requirements

• CPA required, with 4–8+ years of accounting experience, including experience at a public company and/or public accounting firm.
• Demonstrated SEC reporting experience, including preparation and coordination of Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K, supporting schedules, document management and filing coordination.
• Strong technical accounting and month-end close experience, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation and supporting workpapers.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and other finance systems, including AP/payment processing, vendor management, treasury support, and maintaining appropriate approval workflows and internal controls.
• Highly organized with strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and manage deadlines across auditors, legal counsel, external consultants and internal stakeholders while maintaining strong document control and SOX-ready support.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in digital asset operations, custody, treasury, or financial infrastructure, preferably at a digital asset exchange, custodian, institutional trading firm, or regulated financial institution.
• Deep understanding of digital asset custody, staking, wallet infrastructure, private key management, validator operations, and operational risk management.
• Experience designing and maintaining ICFR, SOX controls, operational policies, process documentation, and governance frameworks for digital asset operations.
• Strong background in security reviews, vendor due diligence, infrastructure governance, access management, disaster recovery, and operational resilience across digital asset systems.
• Experience overseeing institutional relationships with custodians, staking providers, infrastructure vendors, auditors, and external service providers.
• Ability to support financial operations, including staking reconciliations, validator reporting, custody statements, proof-of-assets, audit support, accounting workflows, and operational reporting.
• Proven ability to build scalable operational infrastructure while partnering closely with Finance, Legal, and Security.
